Search Valley Documentation
Welcome to the backend documentation for Search Valley, a privacy-first, Google Search replacement designed to run efficiently on low-resource environments (4x Oracle Cloud Free Tier AMD Micro VMs with 1GB RAM each).
Core Principles
- Privacy-First: No stealth tracking. Queries are hashed using SHA-256 for aggregate stats.
- Resource Optimized: Tailored configurations to run containers within 150M-400M RAM footprints.
- Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Users can store their custom LLM credentials securely encrypted on the server.
- Modular Microservices: 4 separate deployable units allowing flexible VM scaling.
